Description
The Boer Whore tells the story of Susan Nell, a teenage rape victim in a British concentration camp at Winburg during the Anglo-Boer War at the turn of the twentieth century.
Nell became one of the world’s first female psychiatrists, and then champion of female victims of the so-called Japanese “comfort stations” during World War II.
The Boer Whore has been adapted into an Afrikaans novel by Francois Smith, Kamphoer (Tafelberg), and according to Moolman the film rights have been sold to a very exciting producer.
