Books that are still perfectly readable but not quite right for our shelves find beautiful new homes through the projects we are proud to support:
- Reading for Redemption – providing books to South African prisons, where reading opens doors to hope and rehabilitation.
- Chamberlain’s Book Bus – bringing the joy of stories to young readers in underserved communities.
- Kungwini Welfare Organisation – a caring Pretoria-based non-profit supporting people with disabilities and other vulnerable residents. Volunteers use suitable books to read to residents for comfort and connection, while additional books are sold to help raise funds for their daily care and programmes. Every book continues to make a difference.
